Fundraising for Little Jesters

Learning and growing together.
Little Jesters is a preschool for 2 to 5-year old children based within Faldingworth Community Primary School. Little Jesters offers a warm and welcoming, caring and stimulating, safe and secure environment, where all children feel valued and can explore at their own pace. A wide variety of activities and resources are available to stimulate and support their development, appropriate to their ages and stages of development.
Managed by a voluntary committee comprised of staff, parents, and members of the local community, the preschool is a registered charity. As with so many charities, the COVID-19 lockdowns have seriously impinged upon Little Jesters’ usual fundraising opportunities.
About Katy
Mum on a mission!
Katy is a mother of two children… well, three if you include her husband but she tries hard not to do that!
Both of Katy’s daughters attended Little Jesters preschool over the last five years before they moved up to Faldingworth Primary School, with which the preschool shares a site and grounds.
Katy volunteered to become a Little Jesters committee member in 2018 and is now Committee Secretary.

Outside of parenting duties, Katy is a voracious reader (she’ll tell you ‘whodunnit’ long before you get to the last page!) and she also bakes an ‘award-winning coffee cake’, as anyone who attended Little Jesters’ Charity Bake Off might attest! She also somehow manages to get sense out of her football-obsessed husband long enough to get things like this little website made!
Having taken a shine to an old cross-trainer setup in the kitchen during the first lockdown earlier in 2020, Katy has decided to strap on her FitBit and see if she can rack up the miles to raise money for Little Jesters’ new climbing equipment during this latest interruption to normality.
Blogging 100 miles during lockdown

So long as we both don’t just collapse in a heap by the time we get home and get the girls sorted after school, we’ll be adding blog posts here regularly – pictures, maps, and all that kind of thing will be added on here.
We’ll also try to post whilst we’re out and about – so long as rural Lincolnshire’s mobile network coverage doesn’t let us down and we can still get access to Instagram!
